2025 Emergency Medicine in Rural & Indigenous Communities (emRIC) Gathering – Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Communities
Event Dates: Monday, April 28th – Thursday, May 1st, 2025
Event Location: Seattle, WA (Muckleshoot Casino Resort)
We are excited to invite those serving rural and Indigenous communities to the Emergency Medicine with Rural and Indigenous Communities (emRIC) Gathering being held April 28th – May 1st, 2025 in the Seattle, WA area. There will be in-person and virtual options for joining.
The theme is Bridging Cultures, Strengthening Communities. During the event we hope to highlight the importance of cultural humility and understanding in medical practice within rural and Indigenous communities, showcase the event as a bridge between diverse cultures and medical expertise, and focus on the collaboration and collective efforts of various healthcare professionals and community leaders.
Who Should Attend?: Physicians, community leaders, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, behavioral health specialists, nurses, chemical dependency counselors, peer support specialists, medical assistants, medics, pre-health students, medical students, etc.
Event Registration Fee: $150 – $600/ person, depending on professional licensure and in-person or virtual attendance.
